Authored an RFE/RL interactive map published on August 14, 2021, documenting changes in Taliban territorial control. The project combined conflict reporting, geographic verification, data-informed storytelling, and cross-functional visual production.
Helped create and lead the launch of Radio Azadi’s Pashto and Dari WhatsApp Channels and contributed to concise audio and voice-note distribution designed for mobile audiences.
Worked with RFE/RL digital, innovation, and technical teams on low-bandwidth distribution, smart links, circumvention approaches, and an audio-only Android experience designed to maintain access to Radio Azadi content during restrictions on broadcasting and websites.
Produced and hosted major interviews, live programming, video discussions, and current-affairs programming, including Radio Azadi’s Triangle program. Also contributed to cross-service RFE/RL journalism on Afghanistan, including reporting and explainers involving China policy and Islamic State-Khorasan.
